D/N - AYA ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED! Staffing ratios - goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5 Weekends - variable based on unit needs No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for nights or a mix of shifts based on department priorities. Shift assignments are assessed every 4-week scheduling period. Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor 2 Years of Experience Required Patient Age Group Adults Geriatrics Patient Diagnoses The most common diagnoses include all subtypes of the following: Breast Cancer Lung Cancer Prostate Cancer Pancreatic Cancer Colon Cancer Esophageal Cancer Encounter for antineoplastic chemotherapy Special Procedures/Unit Details 17 James cares for ALL solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey; from new diagnosis, through treatment, and also assisting with transition to end of life care.
