This would be a great role for early-career candidates with 3-8 years in manufacturing plant and who aspire to lead engineering and maintenance organizations at bigger facilities in the future.Key Responsibilities• Lead engineering masterplan for the site and execute smaller capital projects.• End-to-end responsibility for capital execution (scope, budget, schedule and risk management).• Regularly communicate to stakeholders within and outside the plant on project status.• Lead and coach the maintenance department.• Participate in developing and documenting maintenance plans for equipment as assigned.• Accurate and thorough documentation of all work performed using maintenance tracking system and/or technical reports.• Planning schedules in SAP, ordering parts, and managing work schedules.• Respond to equipment breakdowns both major and minor events.• Resolve machine problems with effective troubleshooting using inside and outside support.• Perform preventative, predictive, and diagnostic maintenance on production and facility equipment.• Research and procurement of new materials, parts and supplies to improve equipment and resolve ongoing issues.• General support of plant production and quality as assigned by Plant Leadership.• Attend all safety meetings, report any safety incidents/accidents and understand and follow all Company and Plant Safety policies and Procedures.• Support for the SQF 2000 System.• Trained in the Kerry HACCP program to identify critical steps and their instructions critical to effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan.• Participate as a member of the food safety team.Qualifications and Skills• Engineering degree or diploma in a relevant area is preferred.• Previous maintenance supervisory experience preferred.• Project management of greater than $100,000 capital preferred.• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.• Demonstrates communication, organization, and listening skills.• Excellent attention to detail, neatness, and follow through.• Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.• Has basic computer skills.The typical hiring range for this role is $70,100 - $122,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).Kerry is an equal opportunity employer.
