Description: Note: Heavy call required. Unit Information: Number of Beds: 4 Number of Staff: 4 Technicians working 24 hours a day in 12-hour shifts. Patient Ratios: 1:1 Type of Equipment: GE, 1.5, Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI, and CT machines. EMR System: Meditech Typical hiring profile: Skill Set most recruited for includes: Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Must-have skills include BLS, RDMS, and RVT. Preferred skills include ACLS, although it is not required. Typical procedures performed include operating equipment that utilizes sound waves to create images of the body's internal structures. Technicians create pictures of bones, organs, and tissues to provide accurate assessments. Best personality fit includes: Critical thinker, flexible, willing to work weekends and nights. Ability to work independently is a must. Adaptability and flexibility are essential. Dress Code: Scrubs - Gray for Ultrasound Technicians. Awards/Recognition: Facility specializes in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics, and bariatrics, as well as women's services.
