The Role This is a senior, experienced advisory role within our firm where expectations will be high. As an Apella Senior Wealth Advisor, you’ll serve as the senior financial advisor to clients as an independent relationship manager. You will be charged with leading client relationships and delivering holistic financial advisement across retirement planning, investments, tax planning, estate management, and insurance. This is a rare opportunity to step into a well-supported, high-trust financial planning role within a national, fee-only RIA. You’ll receive Day 1 ownership and accountability of complex client situations (multi-entity, estate, tax, business transitions, etc.) while being granted the opportunities that come with being a senior leader within one of the fastest growing financial advisory firms in the country. Where you’ll work: This role will be located on our Knoxville, TN -based team and be expected to be available for in-person meetings with clients and Apella personnel. What you’ll be responsible for: Lead our most complex client relationships with empathy, transparency, and fiduciary care Create a high-trust relationship and unparalleled white glove experience for every client Leverage Apella advisor support teams to achieve client objectives across Investment Management, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Risk Management and General Planning Independently lead client calls both in-person and virtual as required Build new client relationships through networking, firm marketing, and referral management Serve as a mentor to junior advisors and assist with firm-wide talent development initiatives Work with your dedicated operations team to ensure client retention and satisfaction Collaborate with firm leadership and SMEs (i.e. CPAs, estate lawyers, etc.) to evolve client offerings What qualifications we’re looking for: At least 7-10 years of financial planning industry experience Candidates must have a four-year degree and a CFP® certification Prior experience independently managing client relationships and a $100M+ book of business Expertise in estate, tax, retirement, insurance, investment, and CF/capital needs planning analysis Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong listening skills; professional demeanor Strong organizational, prioritization and project management skills Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); ERP and CRM software Eager to learn and able to adapt quickly to multiple technology platforms and rapid change What we offer: A base salary range of $225K - $275K and ability to participate in our Grid compensation rewards program Partner track for select Senior Wealth Advisors based on personal merit and firm contributions Day 1 Medical, Dental, and Vison health insurance coverage for you and your specific needs Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options w/company contribution 401(k) retirement plan with company match to help you achieve your financial goals Unlimited paid time off (PTO) policy to ensure you have time to rest and recharge when needed Employer-paid life insurance, AD&D, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage options Maternity/paternity leave programs and adoption assistance support to help you start a family Continuing education and certification fee reimbursement for professional development Discount perks on travel, childcare, fitness, electronics, meal delivery, pet insurance, and more Most importantly: The chance to help shape the future of a growing regional team and firm #J-18808-Ljbffr
