IT Specialist Senior - NetworkingZachary Piper Solutions is seeking an IT Specialist Senior - Networking to support a long-term enterprise IT and cybersecurity program based in Crane, IN. The IT Specialist Senior - Networking will provide Tier 2/3 network support, troubleshooting, and optimization across enterprise infrastructure, with a strong focus on Cisco networking technologies. This position requires an active Secret Clearance and is onsite in Crane, IN! Responsibilities of the IT Specialist Senior - Networking:Provide Tier 2/3 support for enterprise network infrastructureInstall, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot IT and networking systemsTroubleshoot and optimize Cisco routers, switches, and related network equipmentSupport enterprise routing and switching infrastructurePerform advanced troubleshooting of IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocolsConfigure and troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and related networking technologiesSupport network upgrades, new installations, and infrastructure modernizationPerform Tier 3 troubleshooting, optimization, and performance managementSupport IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLAN, VPN, and NAT environmentsCoordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure network operationsIntegrate enterprise, regional, and local IT systems while maintaining network availabilityDiagnose and resolve complex network connectivity and performance issuesSupport network recovery efforts following outages or service disruptionsDocument network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, system changes, and technical solutionsCollaborate with network engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and other technical stakeholdersProvide technical guidance and support to junior IT and network personnelQualifications for the IT Specialist Senior - Networking:7+ years of IT experience; 10+ years preferredActive Secret ClearanceStrong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and enterprise networking equipmentExperience providing Tier 2/3 network administration and troubleshootingStrong understanding of enterprise routing and switchingExperience with IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, and NATExperience with IP, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise network protocolsExperience supporting network upgrades, installations, and infrastructure integrationStrong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsCompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certificationCCNA certification requiredMicrosoft certification preferred; waiver may be consideredCCNP, CCDP, MTA, MCSA, or MCTS certification preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with technical and cybersecurity teamsCompensation for the IT Specialist Senior - Networking includes:Salary: $100,000 - $110,000Comprehensive Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, and Paid Holidays
