• Follow store procedures. Accurately execute opening and closing duties, cash-handling procedures, register operations, bank deposits, and safe-fund controls as assigned.
• Protect inventory and prevent loss. Follow inventory-control procedures and maintain accurate, organized merchandise records.
• Manage merchandise flow. Assist with receiving, inspecting, organizing, stocking, and shipping merchandise in accordance with company procedures.
• Represent the brand. Demonstrate professionalism, product knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm for our merchandise and the Sun and Sandals customer experience.
• Follow company policies. Consistently comply with established policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of retail sales or customer service experience; boutique or specialty retail experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with a diverse range of customers.
• A customer-first mindset and a genuine interest in sales, fashion, footwear, or lifestyle products.
• Proven ability to work toward sales goals, recommend products, and identify additional selling opportunities.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• A proactive, adaptable, and dependable approach to work, with sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn point-of-sale systems and inventory-management tools.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand and move around the store for extended periods and safely lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
