Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all clinical decisions
• Adhere to facility Fire and Life Safety protocols and department-specific emergency response procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• EPIC EMR experience is required
• Holiday time-off requests will not be approved for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
