You’ll work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive learning environment and support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. Caseloads are assigned based on your experience and your preference, ensuring the opportunity to tailor your work for maximum impact and job satisfaction.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist in the state
- Experience conducting assessments, counseling, and intervention planning within a school setting
- Strong understanding of IEP and 504 processes
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse students, staff, and families
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and comprehensive psycho-educational assessments
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to design effective interventions and accommodations
- Contribute to school-wide programs that promote positive behavior and wellness
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all reporting requirements
