Schedule/Shift

The schedule consists of four nights one week and three nights the next week (Wednesday to Saturday/Thursday to Saturday) from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

As a CT Technologist and Radiologic Technologist, you will provide high-quality patient care while performing CT and radiographic procedures. You will ensure accurate imaging as prescribed by physicians, while being attentive to the needs of patients, including those who are pregnant, elderly, or in trauma.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality radiographic exams, determining proper technique to minimize exposure while providing quality diagnostic images.
• Position patients correctly for optimum imaging and ensure shielding to minimize radiation exposure.
• Conduct CT and MR exams, adhering to established protocols and safety measures, particularly for pediatric patients.
• Transport patients to and from the department and assist them in moving to and from exam tables.
• Ensure consent forms are signed prior to examinations and obtain detailed patient histories as needed.
• Practice sterile techniques and maintain cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination.
• Provide radiographic procedures in various settings, including operating rooms, emergency rooms, and recovery rooms.

Required Experience

Must have graduated from an approved ARRT program and possess a minimum of two years of CT experience. Current registration by the ARRT in Radiography and Computed Tomography is required.

Certifications/Licensure

Current Registration by the ARRT (R)(CT) or its equivalent is required.
