Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Commercial Banking Relationship Manager of Healthcare, Higher Education and Non-Profit that will lead and support a team of business development individuals in sourcing new Commercial Bank Clients, by cultivating relationships through existing networks. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Act as a HHN subject matter expert to guide, influence, develop, retain, and grow moderate to high complex and strategic client relationships through the art of relationship management, by understanding the needs and priorities of clients and financial decision makers, responding quickly, communicating proactively but strategically, managing expectations, and soliciting feedbackIdentify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development across Commercial Banking Relationship ManagementCollaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership, represent the company externally, and strategically lead all levels across the enterprise, to resolve internal escalations, including significant and complex client issues, while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectivesStrategically offer the full suite of product solutions to meet clients’ needs including credit, treasury management, liquidity and capital markets.Sourcing new Commercial Banking clients, focused on building long-term, profitable relationships through strategic leadership, excellent product knowledge, flawless deal execution, and superior customer serviceLead the strategy and resolution for full suite of most complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients to meet the most complex and significant needs across multiple areas of the enterprise that may require an in-depth evaluation, vision, and creativity, by engaging product organizations to develop long term, large-scale client specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions; may coordinate highly complex activities and resolutionsProvide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding Commercial Banking Relationship Management company wide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operationsDrive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systemsStrategically lead and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients, by cultivating relationships through existing networksPartner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, leadership, and expertise on client and market needs to enable large-scale companywide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operationsRequired Qualifications:10+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:5+ years banking relationship management experience within healthcare, higher-education, and cultural/service NFP industriesDemonstrated ability to maintain and expand client relationships, as well as developing new client relationships in the HHN spaceEstablished network of client relationships and centers of influence in the HHN spaceAbility to obtain the Municipal Finance Professional (“MFP”) designationDemonstrated ability to identify, understand, and analyze growth opportunities based on market potentialProven ability to manage reputational risksAbility to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively partner with and communicate to internal and external key stakeholdersJob Expectations:Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the timeThis position is not eligible for Visa SponsorshipThis position offers a hybrid work scheduleSpecific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
