Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Intensive Care (Allied)

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist specialized in Neonatal Intensive Care for a 13-week assignment. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality respiratory care to neonates in a specialized intensive care environment.

Schedule

The work schedule varies and involves night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to neonatal patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and response to treatment.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educate families and caregivers on respiratory care needs and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Georgia.
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
