CNC Machinist - Multiple Shifts Available

1. st Shift: 4x10s (Monday–Thursday)
2. nd Shift: 4x10s (Monday–Thursday) + 10% shift differential

Weekend Shift: 3x12s (Friday–Sunday) + 15% shift differential Overtime: As needed Experience Level: Mid-level (2+ years CNC machining) Why This Role Exists This role exists to support continued growth and production demand at Viant Medical’s Brimfield, MA facility. As part of a global medical device manufacturer, CNC Machinists in this role are critical to producing high-precision, life-enhancing medical components with consistency, quality, and care. The Work You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will: Set up and operate CNC equipment for precision medical components Load parts, run jobs, and make adjustments to offsets and tooling as needed Hold tight tolerances and ensure dimensional accuracy throughout production Perform first-article and in-process inspections Troubleshoot machining issues and make corrections to maintain quality Perform basic preventative maintenance and follow safe work practices Work closely with teammates to meet daily production and quality goals Machines, Controls & Technology You’ll work with advanced CNC equipment, including: Machines: 5-Axis CNC Mill Turn (Mazak integtrex) 4-Axis Mills (Matsuura) 3-axis Robodrills Swiss-type lathes - Star, Tsugami, Citizen Wire EDM Inspection Tools: Micrometers, calipers, gauges Blueprint & GD&T interpretation Materials You’ll Work With Medical-grade metals Small, high-precision components (Exact materials vary by program and product line) What We’re Looking For Required: 2+ years of CNC machining experience Strong part inspection experience Ability to read blueprints and GD&T Experience working with tight tolerances and precision parts Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Team-oriented, reliable, and safety-minded Preferred (Not Required): Experience with Mill Turn machine, 3-5 axis mills, or Swiss machines Medical device manufacturing experience Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles Why Machinists Like Working at Viant Medical Machinists choose Viant Medical because of: Clean, climate-controlled, professional shop environment Modern equipment and strong quality systems Multiple shift options with meaningful shift differentials Career growth opportunities within a global medical manufacturer Work that directly supports life-saving medical devices Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay: $30.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE) Shift Differentials: 2nd Shift: +10% Weekend Shift: +15% Benefits (Day One Eligibility): Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life & disability insurance 17 days PTO (prorated) + 10 paid holidays Perfect Attendance Bonus — up to $800 annually Long-term career growth opportunities Apply Interested machinists can apply directly through hireCNC .
