Human Resources Manager (Manufacturing)

Learn more at or visit The Human Resources Manager will serve as a key member of the plant leadership team providing guidance on employee relations and input on decisions that affect facility operations and staff. Key Responsibilities Partner with site leaders to provide day‑to‑day HR support; including staffing, compensation, benefits processing, performance management, training, and development, employee relations Act as first point of contact / liaison for employees in regards to benefit, payroll, or other human resource inquiries and information as appropriate Problem‑solving, providing direction, and answering routine first level of HR questions; from employees and managers, in the areas of payroll, benefits, employee programs, and HR policies (e.g. STD, FMLA, pay, incentive if applicable, etc.) Participate in business meetings, present HR initiatives, and maintain awareness of on‑going business strategy Assist managers and employees with effective use of HR management systems Occasional training delivery (new hire orientations, new initiatives, etc.) Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. (WARN, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO etc.) Regularly participate and contribute in business meetings, present HR initiatives, and maintain awareness of on‑going business strategy and business metrics Processing a variety of HR and operational transactions and reports by utilizing HRIS systems (UKG) and SAP processes and reporting Maintain appropriate confidentiality of information Assist Corporate in developing guidelines and procedures regarding employee relations Leverage Human Capital Data and insights to improve decision‑making of the organization and provide measures of HR success (e.g. HR scorecard development and utilization) Influence and coach leaders at all levels and provide coaching to improve leader effectiveness Develop AND implement Human Capital strategies aligned with and to support/achieve business objectives Diagnose complex people and capability gaps and develop/deliver solutions to address these gaps Lead HR engagements in Organizational Design, Workforce Planning, Talent Strategy (succession, high performer development, etc.) from HQ and as needed, developed locally Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field, PHR certification preferred 5+ years related HR experience in a manufacturing environment People leadership experience Working knowledge & understanding of recruiting practices, federal/state employment law, & basics of FMLA, ADA, EEO Experience using UKG / Ultimate Software is a plus Benefits Company paid Life and Short‑Term disability.
