I'm hiring on behalf of one of the most exciting names in frontier AI right now. A very well-funded research lab building open foundation models, with a founding team pulled from the biggest names in the field.

This is a chance to sit right at the edge where cutting-edge AI research meets real-world enterprise deployment.

Join the Applied AI team as a Forward Deployed Engineer. You'll work hands-on with enterprise customers to take advanced models out of the lab and into production, owning the technical strategy and delivery end-to-end.

What you'll be doing:

• Architecting and building agentic systems with state-of-the-art models
• Orchestrating LLM workflows and integrating with complex enterprise infrastructure
• Working alongside research teams to tailor models to customer needs
• Shipping reliable systems across cloud, VPC and on-prem environments
• Helping write the playbook for a growing FDE org from the ground up

What makes you a fit:

• Strong engineering background shipping production systems (Python, TypeScript)
• Comfortable deploying in cloud/hybrid environments (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
• Hands-on with modern AI stacks: RAG, vector databases, agent orchestration, evals, fine-tuning
• A few years delivering AI-driven enterprise solutions
• A genuine self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, high-ownership environments
