MRI TECHNOLOGIST

Job Summary Responsible for quality patient care that reflects the mission and values of Ozark Health Medical Center. Responsible for maintaining a current state and national license as well as staying current on BLS. Responsible for patient safety and successful accomplishment of patient imaging needs. Responsible for knowing X‑ray, CT and MRI protocols. Use equipment appropriately and in a safe manner according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Must be able to prepare and administer intravenous contrast and be knowledgeable of common side effects and adverse reactions to the contrast. Must be able to adapt to situations and patient conditions and perform duties professionally and in a safe manner. Must be able to communicate in a manner that is effective and productive between patients and fellow staff members. Must be able to work well with others and also work independently within the scope of their license.
