Dietary Aide (PRN)

Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield has an opening for a PRN Dietary Aide! We are an accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility specifically designed for adolescents age 6-17. We focus on providing exceptional treatment and support to children, adolescents, and their families. The Dietary Aide's responsibilities include some of the following: * Ensures meals are ready at a specified time. * Follows types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus. * Ability to follow therapeutic diet menus, recipes and instruct cooks helpers on the same. * Test's food being cooked to ensure doneness. Adjust heat controls, as necessary. Able to re-calibrate thermometers as needed. * Ensure kitchen and dining room area is clean and sanitized. Qualified candidates should have the following: * Must have a High School Diploma * Able to work the schedule as prescribed for the department Perimeter Healthcare is one of the leading mental and behavioral health care providers in the country.
