(Medior/Senior) Accountant (m/v/d)

We are looking for an Accountant for our office in Lijnden (Schiphol) to manage the accounting for our four entities in the BENELUX region, together with the Finance Manager and the Finance Admin. In this role, you will report directly to the Finance Director BENELUX, based in the Netherlands. Your contribution: You ensure fully accurate, compliant, and timely accounting and monthly reporting You are involved in the implementation and continuous improvement of clear, structured, and efficient accounting processes and related controls You work in a fully integrated way within the Breitling Netherlands finance department and collaborate closely with other business functions You are responsible for the accounting and reporting of assigned entities (Dutch GAAP and IFRS) You perform monthly and annual closings, as well as controls and analyses You prepare for and respond to external audit requirements You actively contribute to the financial planning process Do you think there is even more to discover in this role? You will fit perfectly into our team if: You have at least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a retail environment You are fluent in English and have at least an intermediate level of Dutch; French is a plus You have experience implementing and maintaining structured, efficient accounting processes and related controls You have experience providing technical accounting advice, which would be a strong asset You are experienced in monthly and annual closing and reporting You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills You demonstrate a precise, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset You effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a dynamic environment You have a solid understanding of Dutch GAAP and IFRS You have hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA You have advanced proficiency in Excel and a strong command of other MS Office applications You hold a professional accounting certification We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all of these criteria.
