Work Model: Onsite during onboarding, hybrid schedule available after onboarding
Salary: $100,000–$125,000 depending on experience

About the Role

We are hiring a Junior Associate Attorney for a boutique plaintiff personal injury law firm in Santa Ana, CA.

This opportunity is designed for a newly licensed California attorney or early-career associate who wants hands-on litigation experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to build a long-term career as a trial attorney.

You will work directly with experienced attorneys and gain exposure to every stage of plaintiff personal injury litigation, including case development, discovery, motions, negotiations, hearings, and trial preparation.

• Recently licensed California attorneys
• First-year associates
• Attorneys with 1–2 years of litigation experience

Requirements
Must have:

• Active California Bar license
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail

Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply:

• Plaintiff personal injury
• Civil litigation
• Insurance defense
• Criminal litigation
• Judicial externship
• Litigation clerkship
• Trial advocacy/mock trial
• Other litigation-focused experience

What You Will Do

• Assist with managing plaintiff personal injury cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
• Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance carriers
• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Work alongside experienced attorneys on litigation strategy
• Develop the skills necessary to independently manage cases

Compensation
Base salary is $100,000–$125,000 depending on experience.
