Senior Internal & Executive Communications Lead, Cross-CIB Communications

About this role:

This position will drive enterprise alignment and employee engagement across business priorities within Corporate & Investment Banking in a global, highly regulated environment. This individual contributor will translate strategy into clear messaging across talent, technology, operations, and risk that shape how employees work and deliver results. This position will shape executive voice, messaging strategy, and delivery across enterprise channels, including leadership forums, digital platforms, and global broadcasts at scale. The person in this role will connect business change to employee experience and drive adoption across global teams. This position will be based in Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN and offers a hybrid work schedule. The Wells Fargo job profile is Senior Lead Communications Consultant .

In this role, you will:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, delivering messaging that drives clarity, alignment, and engagement at scale

• Ideate communication strategies supporting talent, technology, operations, and risk and controls

• Develop executive communications (e.g., town halls, emails, leadership forums) aligned to business priorities

• Translate enterprise and CIB priorities into actionable messaging for global audiences

• Manage end-to-end channel strategy and sequencing across global, multi-channel environments

• Create content supporting talent programs, systems enhancements, and regulatory change initiatives

• Advise on high-impact or sensitive communications tied to employee, operational, and risk impacts

• Partner with business, technology, and risk teams to align messaging to priorities

• Measure effectiveness using engagement metrics and feedback to continuously improve outcomes

• Contribute to cross-CIB and enterprise-wide communication initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience developing internal and executive communication plans within the financial services industry

• Experience crafting executive communications for talent, technology, operations, risk & controls priorities

• Experience translating enterprise programs into employee-focused messaging

• Experience managing multi-channel strategies for large, distributed audiences

• Experience advising leaders on sensitive or high-risk communications

• Experience using engagement metrics and feedback to optimize communication strategies

• 125 High Street - Boston, MA ($167,000 to $260,000)

• 401 South Tryon Street - Charlotte, NC ($139,000 to $217,000)

• 600 South 4th Street - Minneapolis, MN ($153,000 to $239,000)

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
