Job Title: Production Assembler for the Lineal Department
Schedule: Full Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Assembler to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling, fabricating, and inspecting window sash, screens, and related components. The ideal candidate will follow work instructions and blueprints, maintain quality standards, and ensure that finished products meet safety and performance specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Read order pick lists to gather aluminum extrusion pieces and other materials for packaging and assembly.
• Assemble parts and components according to work instructions, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Perform minor metal processing such as punching and notching aluminum extrusions as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment, including assisting or operating HILO to move racks and materials safely.
• Retrieve parts and tools from inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and recordkeeping.
• Follow engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation to ensure product accuracy and quality.
• Conduct quality inspections, testing, and verification of completed assemblies and materials.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas while properly caring for tools and equipment.
• Handle, measure, and prepare materials for assembly, including glass, screens, aluminum frames, and related components.
• Assemble, inspect, and package finished products such as window sash units and screens per specifications.
• Label, stage, and load finished products for shipment while ensuring accuracy of job information.
• Support general production tasks and follow supervisor instructions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience in window or window screen fabrication is a plus but not required.
• Experience using miter saws, bandsaws, and punch presses preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts (HILO) preferred.
• Experience with cordless drills, silicone application, basic hand tools, and measuring tools preferred.
• Ability to read instructions, blueprints, and perform basic measurements and cut calculations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 40–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, temperature variations, and machinery.
