Production Operator

Job Requirements 1st Shift – Mon – Thurs 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST (4-10’s schedule). Overtime as needed on Friday’s 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM EST Responsibilities Set up and operates tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts. Follow work orders, and other specifications to ensure proper setup sequence is followed. Selects, places, and secures tools, supplies, and equipment. Observes tasks to verify quality performance, conducts routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications. Verifies instruments are in proper working order. Sets and adjusts equipment to regulate machines to maintain speed, output, and quality standards. Cleans equipment, maintains an area free from debris, and readies or puts away tools on machinery. Closely follow directions to operate machinery and tools. Reports issues to Production Leads or Supervisor. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Must adhere to all company policies and safety rules. Must be able to work extended hours when required. These responsibilities may change in the future to keep up with customer demand, equipment changes, and improved Standard Operating Procedures. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow directions. Ability to work a variety of roles and cross-train as needed. Highly motivated with desire to move from task to task as needed. Basic computer skills. Teamwork skills. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required. Prior manufacturing experience preferred. Job Training is provided. Physical Requirements Ability to work and stand for extended period, on concrete floors for 10-hour shifts. Ability to work in hot, wet, and humid environments. Physical Stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to work in noisy environments. Ability to lift 50 lbs. as required. Ability to bend, stoop, walk, twist, lift, stand, push and pull material. Ability to follow written instructions. Ability to follow proper safety protocols.
