General Manager

** This role is not with ForceBrands, the brand is a high-growth clean home care product. Candidates need to be based near Newport Beach, or open to relocation.

The company is seeking a commercially driven General Manager / President to lead the next phase of growth for one of the fastest-scaling omnichannel brands in the home, pest, and garden category.

This leader will own the overall commercial strategy and P&L, with a strong emphasis on accelerating retail growth, expanding key retailer relationships, and positioning the business for a successful future exit. The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and has experience scaling high-growth consumer brands across retail and omnichannel environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead overall commercial strategy across retail, Amazon, and DTC channels
• Own and drive retail expansion strategy with major national retailers
• Build and strengthen relationships with key buyers and retail partners
• Oversee sales, marketing, and overall business performance/P&L
• Partner closely with executive leadership to position the company for long-term value creation and eventual exit
• Evaluate and build out the commercial organization as the business scales
• Collaborate cross-functionally with shared services and holding company leadership

Ideal Background:

• Experience leading or scaling a high-growth consumer brand
• Strong retail strategy experience with meaningful buyer relationships
• Deep understanding of omnichannel consumer businesses
• Experience in pest control, home & garden, pet, household products, or adjacent categories strongly preferred
• Proven P&L ownership and commercial leadership experience
• Startup or entrepreneurial environment experience preferred
• Experience through acquisition, exit, or significant scale-up highly valued

Preferred Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate may have started their career on the retailer/buyer side before moving into brand-side CPG leadership, giving them both strategic category insight and strong retailer relationships. Candidates from companies such as Central Garden & Pet or other omnichannel consumer brands with retail complexity are of particular interest.
