SEC Reporting Manager – Biosciences

Direct Hire | $125–140K | Orange County, CA | Hybrid (3 days onsite)

One of our bioscience clients is seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to take full ownership of preparing and filing all external financial reports in compliance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial disclosures for a publicly traded life sciences company.

Must have end to end SEC filing experience in a publicly traded company to qualify!

What You’ll Do

• Lead SEC filings including 10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, and other required disclosures

• Ensure GAAP and SEC compliance and maintain strong internal controls

• Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits

• Prepare financial footnotes and MD&A sections

• Manage disclosure checklists and reporting calendars

• Support earnings releases and investor reporting materials

• Partner cross‑functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and Legal

• Monitor new accounting standards and regulatory updates

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

• 5+ years of SEC reporting or public accounting experience

• End‑to‑end SEC filing and reporting experience

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements

• Must Have SEC filing experience in a publicly traded company or Big 4 audit environment

• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
