Join us and help change the future of healthcare for the better./ppThe Radiologic Technologist (XRT) position is primarily responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Youll help patients through the imaging process and work cross-functionally to support your team with other tasks that expand your knowledge and experience to keep our clinic running smoothly. We are looking for someone with availability and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays./ph3What Youll Do/h3ulliPrepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging; explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation./liliPractice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff/liliPrepare images for reading by Radiologist/liliAssist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow/liliAttend staff and departmental meetings/liliComplete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests/liliProposes improvements to processes and workflows/liliWorks autonomously within established procedures and practices./li/ulh3About You/h3ulliHas advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through job-related training and considerable work experience.
