Controls Systems Engineer

Job Description Job Description Location: Minneapolis, MN We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex factory test equipment and automated systems. This role will work with cross-functional engineering teams and serve as a technical resource for system integration and PLC-based solutions. Key Responsibilities Support engineering projects involving complex automated systems, hardware, software, networks, and PLCs. Integrate, troubleshoot, and support PLC-based equipment and automated systems. Gather and manage system requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and drive corrective actions. Provide technical support to engineering teams and work with minimal supervision. Support project schedules, resources, and a small technical team. Requirements Experience in Systems Engineering or Industrial Engineering . Hands-on experience with PLCs, equipment integration, implementation, and troubleshooting . Experience working on complex system integration projects. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering. Associate’s or technical degree in Automation, Industrial Controls, Robotics, or related field. Experience with Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLCs . Experience with SQL and databases . Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
