Test Technician

Location: North Haven, CT Duration: 6+ Months

Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, Sunday night–Friday morning Training: 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) preferred; 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) possible.

Role

Entry-level technician supporting testing, troubleshooting, assembly, calibration, and data collection for production equipment/assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and perform tests on electronic/mechanical assemblies and equipment using defined procedures.
• Assemble/modify equipment using schematics, diagrams, drawings and specifications.
• Use hand/small power tools and test/measurement instruments.
• Adjust/calibrate systems and replace components to correct basic malfunctions.
• Record, verify and maintain test/technical data; perform basic calculations.
• Follow quality/control procedures and safety standards.
• Communicate technical information clearly and work with attention to detail.

Must-Have

• 0+ years experience; entry-level candidates considered.
• Basic knowledge of technical testing, troubleshooting, laboratory techniques and test instruments.
• Ability to read/use schematics, diagrams and technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, technical communication and time management.
• High school/equivalent; Engineering/technical education preferred.
• Willingness to work night shift.
