Radiation Therapist - NWCC

Job Description Hiring Incentive Eligible! Northwest Wisconsin Cancer Center (NWCC) of Memorial Medical Center, in collaboration with Essentia Health, offers comprehensive cancer care, including the latest treatments and technology. Patients receive the same services as larger regional centers right here in Ashland. NWCC provides expert care via both Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology treatments. The department houses a state-of-the-art Varian™ TrueBeam™ Linear Accelerator and a 4D-capable CT scanner, enabling advanced radiation therapy techniques such as Intensity‑Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radio Surgery (SRS), and motion management (gated treatment and deep inspiration breath hold). Responsibilities Perform a variety of technical procedures involving high‑energy radiation equipment. Administer, simulate, and record radiation treatments to patients of all ages as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist while maintaining confidentiality. Provide daily patient contact for monitoring the effects of radiation. Qualifications Graduate of an approved radiation therapist program. Ability to be ARRT certified within 90 days or ARRT‑certified upon hire. If hired after 1989, must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, registered in Radiation Therapy. Valid state credentialing, if applicable. Current CPR certification.
