Medical Assistant

Job Description

The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare practitioners by performing patient intake, recording vital signs, and managing electronic health records within a clinical setting. This position involves direct interaction with patients and requires coordination with clinic staff to ensure efficient and compliant operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient intake and prepare patients for examination
Record and monitor vital signs accurately
Manage patient information using specific EHR software
Coordinate with the Office Manager for daily operations and reporting
Assist clinical staff as needed to facilitate patient care
Travel occasionally between clinic locations to support operations

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in medical assisting
Knowledge of medical terminology
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards
