Pediatric Dental Assistant Level 2

We are a family-oriented, independently owned pediatric dental office that has proudly served our community for nearly 30 years! We are seeking skilled and compassionate assistants to join our team as Dental Assistant Level 2 with a pathway to becoming Lead Assistants. The ideal candidates should enjoy working with children, provide exceptional patient care, and are qualified to perform expanded functions.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat pediatric patients, helping create a positive and comfortable dental experience.

Prepare, disinfect, and organize treatment rooms.

Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.

Anticipate the dentist's needs and pass instruments efficiently during treatment.

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.

Perform expanded functions including, Coronal polishing, placement of pit and fissure sealants, application of Fluoride, assisting with basic restorative procedures, take and process x-rays, ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and office policies, assist with inventory management and operatory organization.
