Registered Respiratory Therapist

Role: Provide comprehensive respiratory care services, including treatment, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support for patients of all ages in various settings. Responsibilities: Set up and monitor respiratory and PAP therapy equipment, educate patients and staff, review and document patient information, ensure compliance with therapy, and communicate with physicians. Participate in process improvements and resolve patient issues, adapting care to diverse patient populations. Maintain knowledge of current laws and standards, ensuring compliance and safety. Qualifications: Associate’s degree from an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program. Current state license and NBRC certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. BLS certification required. Skills: Proficiency with Windows applications, excellent communication, knowledge of respiratory equipment, reliable transportation for home visits, and ability to be on-call.
