Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Property Accountant with excellent organizational skills to coordinate and perform general ledger activities for month-end close. Applicants must be able to meet regularly scheduled deadlines. * This is a hybrid role based in our Dallas office. Responsibilities: * Perform monthly property close process * Prepare journal entries * Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts * Maintain amortization and depreciation schedules * Set up and maintain vendor accounts in AP system * General ledger account analysis * Prepare monthly financial statements * Assist in special projects * Effectively communicate with property personnel and management Qualifications: * BS in Accounting * 5 or more years of accounting experience * Experience with property accounting a plus * Experience with computer-based accounting systems, PeopleSoft Oracle a plus * Proficient in MS Excel * Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and internal controls * Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
