Additionally, Bookmans speaks out against censorship and promotes freedom of expression at every turn.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading and promoting a customer-friendly store atmosphere by providing exceptional customer assistance. To apply knowledge of housewares, toys, and jewelry products to buying, processing, and selling; continuously incorporating positive customer focused strategies. Staff prices, sorts, stocks, and merchandise all areas of the department, as well as works at the Incoming Merchandise/Trade counter buying and pricing merchandise.Job Requirements· Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Customer Service requires patience, kindness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with diverse communities and customer needs.· Professional telephone skills· Ability to adapt to a flexible working schedule to include early mornings, evenings, mid-shifts, and weekends.· Diverse housewares/toys/jewelry product knowledge.· Understanding of the pricing, trading, and discount systems at Bookmans.· Motivated to learn how to buy/process/sell Gallery Merchandise.· General knowledge of products sold at Bookmans.· Knowledge of store sections and layout.· Ability to work independently with guidance and direction from the Gallery Department Supervisor/Lead and Store Management.· Ability to use reference materials.· Must be able to conduct oneself in a civil, professional, and respectful manner at work.This position is part-time (less than 30 hours per week).Applications for this position will be accepted until Friday, September 18, 2026.
