Resident Services Coordinator

Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Services Coordinator to join our team and enhance the quality of life for residents within our community. This vital role involves providing comprehensive support, connecting residents to essential social services, and fostering a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for social work, and experience working with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and culturally varied communities. Your approach will help create a vibrant, supportive atmosphere where residents feel valued and empowered. Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university. Prior employment experience related to case management. Experience working with low-income families and the populations the program intends to serve. Experience working with self-sufficiency, earnings and/or employment programs. Knowledge of resources available in the local community to help residents increase their earnings and assets. Knowledge of pertinent HUD regulations.
