Physician Owner / Medical Director

Oak Hill Wellness Center – Pittsford, NY Oak Hill Wellness Center is a new wellness and health optimization practice being developed in Pittsford, New York. We are seeking a New York-licensed MD or DO to serve as the physician owner of the professional medical entity and Medical Director/Clinical Leader for the practice. This is a unique opportunity for a physician interested in personalized medicine, metabolic health, hormone optimization, wellness, performance, and innovative care delivery who would like to participate in building a new practice without carrying the day-to-day administrative burden of operating it. The practice is being developed with professional support for startup planning, operations, compliance, staffing, technology, marketing, vendor implementation, and business administration. About Oak Hill Wellness Center Oak Hill is being designed around individualized, outcomes-driven care. Planned services may include: Medical weight management and GLP-1 programs Metabolic health optimization Hormone evaluation and BHRT Advanced laboratory testing Body composition analysis Performance and recovery services SoftWave/shockwave therapy IV-related wellness services Peptide-related therapies where clinically and legally appropriate Regenerative-focused services Nutrition and lifestyle optimization Partnerships with DEXA, imaging, nutrition, acupuncture, and other complementary services Final clinical offerings will be determined based on physician judgment, applicable law, clinical evidence, patient safety, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities The physician will have meaningful ownership and clinical authority over the professional practice. Responsibilities are expected to include: Serve as physician owner of the New York professional medical entity Serve as Medical Director and clinical leader Establish and approve clinical protocols, policies, and standards of care Maintain authority over medical decision-making, prescribing, patient eligibility, and treatment protocols Provide oversight and clinical guidance to NPs, PAs, RNs, and other clinical staff as applicable Participate in evaluation of new clinical services and therapies Support clinical quality, documentation, compliance, and patient safety Collaborate with laboratory, pharmacy, equipment, and clinical vendors Participate in periodic leadership and clinical meetings Provide direct patient care if mutually desired Non-clinical operations, marketing, HR, technology, vendor management, and administrative functions will be supported through the practice's management structure. Qualifications Required: MD or DO Active and unrestricted New York medical license Good standing with applicable licensing and regulatory authorities Willingness to participate as a legitimate physician owner and clinical leader Strong commitment to patient safety and individualized care Experience or interest in one or more of the following is preferred: Internal Medicine Family Medicine Endocrinology Obesity Medicine Hormone health Longevity or health optimization Sports/performance medicine Schedule This is expected to be a part-time, flexible leadership position and would be compatible with an existing medical practice or other employment, subject to any applicable employment agreements or conflicts of interest. Onsite requirements and direct patient-care responsibilities will be determined collaboratively based on the final practice model. The final ownership, governance, MSO relationship, compensation arrangement, and division of clinical and non-clinical responsibilities will be structured with qualified New York healthcare counsel.
