Data Scientist

Responsible for translating business requirements into analytical constructs and using data to propose solutions for effective decision making. Collects, validates, transforms, and cleanses data, as well as performs quantitative analysis to derive insights. Runs analytical experiments in a methodical manner and regularly evaluates alternative models and techniques. Develops predictive models to forecast business performance metrics and provides recommendations for strategic decisions. Compensation:
$40/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science OR 3 years of experience working in a data analytical or computer programming function
• Strong experience performing advanced data analyses, including cost-benefit analysis, data bricks, forecasting, predictive modeling, what-if analysis, and impact analysis to support business decision-making
• Hands-on experience working with large and complex (Big Data) datasets - SAP, SQL (DB Visualizer), Maximo
• Hands on experience building Power BI dashboards
• Develops, modifies, and automates reports, builds and prototypes dashboards to provide insights, and provides analytical solutions


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, perform end-to-end analyses, and deliver scalable analytical solutions
• Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present analytical insights through clear, compelling stories and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences
