Key Personnel is seeking a Surgery Assistant/Patient Transport for a company in the Tulsa, OK area.

Surgery Assistant/Patient Transport Pay: $15 - $20.19/hr

Surgery Assistant/Patient Transport Responsibilities:

• Safely transports patients to and from the operating room, recovery area, and other hospital departments.
• Assists patients with positioning on the operating table under the direction of nurses or surgical staff.
• May assist in transporting specimens to the lab or ensuring instruments are sent for sterilization.
• Ensures patient privacy, safety, and comfort at all times.
• Prepares the operating room before surgeries by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
• Assists in setting up surgical tables, lights, and other non-sterile equipment.
• Responds quickly to requests during surgeries, such as retrieving additional equipment or supplies.
• Provides assistance to nurses and anesthesiologists.
• Replenishes linens, solutions, and other stock as needed.

Surgery Assistant/Patient Transport Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant healthcare training preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare or patient care settings is a plus.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and assist patients of varying sizes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and dependable.
