CNB Bank, Information Security Analyst - Hybrid

Description

This position provides critical support for the Information Security team’s operational, compliance, and audit functions. Daily activities can vary widely from support of large InfoSec projects, to developing cybersecurity training materials, to supporting employees with spam and phishing email issues. The analyst will assist with setup, monitoring, and maintenance of various internal security platforms and with system and application security company-wide to ensure the help the Bank secure against both current and new threat actors or emerging threat vectors. Below is a list of essential functions of this position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with monitoring methods to ensure device, application, and employee adherence to all policies and procedures. Assists with updates to and maintenance of the Bank’s disaster recovery plans, and with planning for, conducting, and maintaining documentation of disaster recovery tests. Development of security awareness and phishing training materials. Support and monitoring of the bank’s email spam and phishing management, and incident response management tools. Support both internal and external information security and information technology audits and exams through second line review of required reporting and assist with the bank’s responses to audit documentation requests. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE Degree in Information Security, Risk, Digital Forensics, Computer Science, or related Information Technology Specialization. In lieu of a degree, Technology Certifications or equivalent years of experience will be considered. To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential position requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A background screening will be conducted. LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively. TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:

Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn diverse operating systems, network management systems, and cybersecurity management and monitoring tools and applications. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position operates in a professional office environment, or in an appropriate home work environment, with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. If working from a bank office the noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
