The Expense Manager isaccountable to the Senior Manager – Accounts Payable. This role will beresponsible for assisting in the day-to-day administration of our travel platform,ensuring policy compliance, managing travel vendor relationships, andsupporting employees with a seamless and cost-effective travel experience.What you will be working on:Assist in administering and management of Crusoe’s corporate travelplatform, including system configuration, user support, approvalworkflows, and reportingEnsure adherence to company travel policies by monitoring, addressing,and providing clear guidance of out-of-policy activity.Serve as the point of contact for travel-related questions, escalations, andurgent travel needs when the manager is not available.Partner cross-functionally with Finance, People, and Security to align travelpractices with budget controls and duty-of-care standards.Manage relationships with travel vendors and key vendors to ensuresmooth operations and competitive pricing.Track and report on travel spend, identify trends, and recommend processimprovements to drive cost efficiency and compliance.Establish and track key travel program metrics (policy compliance, savings,adoption rates) and provide regular reporting to leadership.Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhancescalability as the company grows.Communicate accounting information to clients, often with little or noaccounting experience, in order to achieve accurate financial accountingand reporting to resolve issuesMaintain clear documentation, FAQs, and employee communicationsrelated to travel policies and processes.What You'll Bring to the Team:3-5 years of experience managing or administering a corporate travelprogramDirect experience working within a corporate travel platform (e.g., Navan,Coupa)Experience enforcing travel policies and confidently addressing out-of-policy bookingsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing high-volume bookings and reportingComfort operating independently while escalating appropriately toleadershipData-oriented mindset with experience tracking spend and identifyingsavings opportunitiesClear, professional communication skills and a customer-service approachbalanced with policy accountabilityAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentBenefits:- Competitive compensation- Restricted Stock Units- Paid time off & paid holidays- Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance- Employer contributions to HSA account- Paid parental leave- Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability- Professional development & tuition reimbursement- Mental health & wellness support- Commuter benefits (parking & transit)- Cell phone stipend- 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary- Volunteer time offCompensation RangeCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $105,000 - $130,000 + Bonus.Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.
