Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Tech with RDMS and RVT credentials to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including OB, vascular, and general ultrasound, in a critical access hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise, efficient workflow, and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, pelvic, vascular, OB/GYN, small parts, and breast imaging.
• Operate advanced equipment including GE Logic E10, Trophons, and Parks Flolab, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Write detailed and accurate reports for radiologists, ensuring timely communication of findings.
• Follow unit policies on confidentiality, patient safety, and exam procedures as outlined in protocols and templates.
• Maintain equipment quality, cleanliness, and proper documentation of exams.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARDMS certification in Abdomen or OB/GYN, with RVT credential preferred.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of ultrasound experience in a clinical setting.
• Possess OB and general ultrasound expertise, with vascular skills highly desirable.
• Maintain BLS certification and strong understanding of patient safety protocols.
• Ability to scan efficiently within 30-45 minutes per exam and write comprehensive reports.
• Be a team player with excellent communication and professionalism.
