Audiologist Speech Therapist in Arlington, VA

This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate within the ENT/Audiology department, delivering high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse patient population.


Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) required
• Valid state licensure in Audiology and/or Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous hospital-based experience in SLP or Audiology preferred
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations and screenings
• Provide speech, language, and swallowing assessments and interventions as indicated
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain thorough, compliant medical records
• Deliver patient and family education tailored to each case
• Utilize current evidence-based practices and maintain ongoing professional development
