12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires floating between the Medical Surgical unit and the Emergency Room, engaging with a diverse patient population that presents a wide range of illnesses and injuries, particularly due to the proximity to a major highway. As a critical access hospital, we need a nurse who is adaptable and ready for any challenge.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room and Medical Surgical unit.
• Assist in evaluating and managing emergency situations.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
