Regional Support - Project Engineer, Direct Purchasing

Employment Type: Full-Time FSLA: Salary/Exempt Division: Arch Energy Department: Arch Energy Reports to: Direct Purchase Regional Lead / Director of Strategic Sourcing Supervisory Duties: No Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 The Arch Energy Direct Purchase Regional Support - Project Engineer (DPRS -PE) will support the Direct Purchase Regional Lead as required to deliver on regional, package and departmental requirements. The DPRS -PE will be primarily responsible for obtaining, distributing and reporting on critical project information to the project stakeholders. In this role, the DPRS -PE will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and consultants. The DPRS -PE is the regional expert on the status of submittals, Request for Information (RFIs), materials, safety documentation, drawing updates, and all other relevant project documents. The DPRS -PE will support package and regional cost management as required. Responsibilities / Essential Functions Package Coordination – Ensure that package status is kept up to date in relevant systems / reports as required by the Direct Purchase Regional lead. including but not limited to: Purchase status tracking Award status tracking Cost status tracking Warranty status tracking Close-Out status tracking Package Document Control – Ensure timely and accurate management of package documentation: Review & distribute all design changes/updates to the relevant project team, MEP regional lead and vendors RFIs: Prepare and submit requests for information to the design team and distribute all responses to the appropriate parties. Submittals: Create and manage the submittal log for the project. Obtain required submittals from subcontractors, review for compliance with the specifications and submit to the design team for review via Procore system software. Package Delivery: Thorough knowledge of anticipated delivery dates for materials and equipment to the site and coordination with Direct Purchase Administration / Coordination function. Update and maintain an accurate delivery log for all package materials & equipment. Obtain current information from vendors on a consistent basis regarding the status of their deliverables and when they are expected. After alignment with Direct Purchase Regional lead ensure timely communication of potential risks and delays to the relevant project team members. Understand & communicate long lead item impacts to the design team during the submittal review process & expediting of submittal review where required. Material verification on-site: confirm the delivered material corresponds to the submitted material to avoid potential field issues. Regional & Package Meetings: Generate and update agendas for the various regional & package meetings with input from the Direct Purchase Regional lead and project team. Track project meeting commitments and action items and distribute minutes to project stakeholders in a timely manner. In coordination with Direct Purchase Administration / Coordination report on, at a minimum, submittals, RFI’s and critical project issues. Collaboration and Coordination: Interface with client, design team and MEP regional lead throughout the entire project. Develop relationships with all stakeholders on the project. Required Experience A bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred. 2-4 years construction management experience. Prior internship experience is a plus. Basic understanding of construction including schedule logic, budgets and project documentation. Microsoft Office proficiency is required. OSHA 10 Hour and OSHA 30 preferred. Additional experience may include cost management software (Timberline, Sage preferred), scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred) and construction management software (Procore preferred). #J-18808-Ljbffr Consigli Construction
