As a Caregiver with us, you will have a vital role in delivering personalized care and support to seniors, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible. Are you willing to drive up to 25 miles from your home to care for your client? Are you able to lift or push/pull 25 pounds? Do you have a love for seniors? Schedule Weekdays and every other weekend with flexible times Wages & Benefits PTO Paid training 3% Employer - Match Simple IRA retirement plan Rate of Pay: $17-$19 DOE As a Home Instead Caregiver, you will be responsible for.... Companionship Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home Preparing meals and snacks Medication reminders Personal cares (ADL's) Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving Transportation Some clients may need extra care with Hoyer Lifts, Gait Belts, Alzheimer's care, stroke, etc. Qualifications And Skills High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred. Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs without assistance Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance Pass a background check 18+ years of age Pass Drug Test Each Home Instead Senior Care franchise office is independently owned and operated.
