Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Dermott City Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team in Dermott, AR. The ADON will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care and compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a positive and safe environment for both residents and staff. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department. Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and adherence to policies and procedures. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing nursing home operations. Participate in staff training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes as needed. Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the facility. Requirements Current RN license in the state of Arkansas. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nursing leadership role within a long-term care setting. Strong knowledge of nursing home regulations and standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
