Delivery Power Platform Engineer Consultant, AI and Analytics Solutions

Position Summary Our Deloitte AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and help make a significant impact on our clients’ success. Work You’ll Do As a Delivery Consultant, AI and Analytics Solutions on the team, you will: Working across client and delivery teams to design and build model-driven apps using Dataverse, including forms, views, business rules, commands, and dashboardsTranslating business requirements into data models, solution components, and user experiences aligned to standards and reuseConfiguring and extending Dataverse (tables, relationships, column types, validation, calculated/rollup columns) and implementing security (roles, teams, business units, field security)Designing process automation using Power Automate (cloud flows and Desktop), including approvals, integrations, notifications, and exception handlingIntegrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and external systems via connectors, APIs, and custom integration patternsEstablishing and promoting development standards: solution layering, environment strategy, naming conventions, ALM, and deployment pipelinesSupporting testing and quality practices: unit/system testing, defect triage, performance tuning, and release readinessParticipating in design and code reviews (including Power Fx, JavaScript where applicable, and plugin/workflow approaches), ensuring maintainability and securityPartnering with stakeholders to identify modernization opportunities and roadmap enhancements (e.g., legacy app replacement, workflow digitization, case management)Creating and maintaining documentation: solution design, data model, security model, and operational runbooksContributing to knowledge-sharing—reusable components, patterns, accelerators, and internal community of practice assets A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to others The Team Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree Limited immigration sponsorship may be available4+ years of experience delivering enterprise applications (low-code and/or traditional) with strong business-to-technical translation skills3+ years of hands-on experience building Power Apps, with 1+ years focused on model-driven apps3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dataverse data modeling and security design3+ years of experience with Power Automate (cloud flows), including error handling and integration scenarios1+ years experience designing solutions to address client requirements, including data, security, and non-functional requirements (performance, auditability, supportability)1+ years experience working in an Agile delivery environment (backlog, user stories, sprint ceremonies)1+ years experience understanding of ALM concepts for Power Platform (solutions, managed/unmanaged, environment promotion, deployment practices)Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project locationTravel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposesRelocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance Preferred: Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform App Maker, Power Platform Developer, Power Platform Functional Consultant)Experience with Power Platform extensibility: PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) components, custom connectors, Azure Functions, plugins, or integration middlewareExperience with Dynamics 365 implementations (Customer Service, Sales, Field Service, etc.) and common patterns for model-driven appsFamiliarity with governance and operating models (CoE setup, environment strategy, DLP (data loss prevention) policies, telemetry/monitoring)Experience with accessibility, UX patterns for model-driven apps, and adoption practices (training, change enablement)Prior Government & Public Services consulting and/or professional services experienceExperience with RPA tools like UiPath, Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere.Proven expertise in designing and deploying AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including conversational flow design, Power Automate integration, and custom connector development Deloitte is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities.
