Manager, Information Security

Description

Be the strategic voice for security at a company built on trust. The Waldinger Corporation is looking for a Manager, Information Security to lead our approach to risk, resilience, and readiness. This isn't a "lock everything down" role - it's a chance to shape how security enables the business, not slows it down. You'll partner directly with leadership, evaluate emerging tech (including AI), and build programs that protect what matters while helping the company grow.

What You'll Do

• Own the security strategy. Set the direction for information security risk management, evaluate and prioritize initiatives, and align security priorities with business growth.
• Be a trusted advisor. Weigh in on new technologies, AI capabilities, third-party vendors, and business initiatives with pragmatic, risk-based guidance that keeps the business moving.
• Lead incident response. Strengthen our ability to prevent, detect, and respond to security events, coordinating across internal teams and external partners when it counts most.
• Build resilience. Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery programs so the organization is ready for whatever comes.
• Shape the culture. Own security policy, standards, and awareness programs that make security a shared responsibility - not just IT's problem.

What You Bring

• 8-10 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• A mindset that treats security as a business enabler, not a roadblock
