This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care that promotes health, manages illness, and alleviates suffering, with a focus on oncology patients. The RN will ensure compliance with all standards of practice, support patient-centered care, and contribute to a healing environment. Job Details Certifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License, BLS Certification (American Heart Association, Hospital Systems, or American Red Cross). Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Experience Requirements: Nursing (RN) experience of five (5) or more years. Management experience of zero (0) to three (3) years. Location Requirements: Not specified. Years of Experience: 5 years minimum. Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Hours: 36 hours per week, every other weekend. Position involves managing a group of patients, educating patients and families, administering medications safely, and participating in professional and operational development. Prior chemo administration experience is highly preferred, but not required. Skills required include collaboration, verbal and written communication, critical thinking, organization, planning, problem-solving, quality focus, reliability, safety, and risk management. Preferred qualifications include previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting, and relevant certification in specialized nursing areas.
