Test Technician

Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Watsonville, CA
Pay Range: $25.00 – $28.00/hour | Full-Time

Manpower is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Watsonville, CA to hire a Test Technician . This role is ideal for someone with hands-on technical experience who enjoys working with testing equipment and supporting engineering teams in a production environment.

What is the Job:

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and functional testing of parts, subassemblies, and finished products
• Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment, fixtures, and measurement tools
• Accurately record test data, results, and observations in logs and reports
• Identify, document, and report test failures or discrepancies to Engineering and Quality teams
• Assist engineers with troubleshooting, failure analysis, and process improvements
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards at all times
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing accuracy, efficiency, and documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams regarding test status and results

What is Needed:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, testing, or lab environment preferred
• Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications, and test documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures
• Ability to clearly communicate results and findings

Work environment & requirements:

• Manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
• Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or industrial materials
• Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally walk, bend, or lift as needed

Additional Information:

• Must be fluent in English with the ability to read and interpret manufacturing documentation
• Must complete company safety training
• Background check and E-Verify required
