Travel Registered Nurse MICU Job

Overview
Registered Nurse, Medical ICU (MICU) travel assignment in Everett, WA. Start date 06/22/2026 for several weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,838–$1,916 per week. Guaranteed hours: 60 per 2-week pay period. Shift: 3x12 Days. Setting: hospital-level care for medically complex, critically ill adults in a high-acuity MICU within a Level II trauma center.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-acuity critical care for medically complex adults/geriatrics in MICU, including ventilator management and respiratory support (HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP)
- Manage arterial and central venous access, monitor and adjust vasoactive drips, and administer continuous IV sedation as prescribed
- Perform or assist with bedside procedures such as chest tube care, rapid sequence intubation, paracentesis/thoracentesis, and code management; respond to rapid responses and codes
- Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias; participate in proning, TTM/hypothermia protocols, and blood product administration
- Maintain Epic charting accuracy, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives
- Float as needed to cover related units or sister locations; comply with holiday coverage and weekend requirements as part of the assignment

Requirements
- Active WA RN license or WA Compact RN license (per posting)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; travel experience required; Trauma Level II experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (plus 2 hours stroke-specific education annually)
- Ability to work in a high-acuity MICU; required to float to related units; weekend coverage required
- Scheduling and onboarding: Orientation 24 hours; First-timers not accepted; Locals not accepted
- RTO policy: Return-To-Offer windows noted; up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests; holiday coverage required (will work 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)
