Industrial Maintenance Technician

SolomonEdwards partnering with a global textile manufacturing company in Durham, NC to identify Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join their team. This direct-hire opportunity plays a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment, performing preventative maintenance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a proactive approach to equipment reliability, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence. Shift Options Day Shift: 6am-3pm, M-F Night Shift: 8pm-6am, M - F What you can expect in this role Provide maintenance support to prevent equipment failures Identify issues using operator feedback and machine indicators Recommend corrective actions to avoid breakdowns Maintain and repair equipment such as compressors, boilers, HVAC systems, and production machinery Suggest equipment upgrades when needed Understand common equipment failure causes and how to prevent them Perform lubrication, alignment, balancing, and routine inspections A pay rate of up to $36/hr (dependent upon years of experience & qualifications) + a $2/hr shift differential if working the night shift Full medical, dental, and vision plans offered, as well as short-and-long-term disabilities, life & accidental insurance plans, FSA/HSA, accident, hospital, and critical illness plans 401(K) with company match PTO, holiday, and sick days The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience Mechanical & electrical maintenance experience required The hiring process is Complete a 30-minute pre-screen with a recruiter at SolomonEdwards Complete on-site maintenance assessment (30-minutes) Interview with hiring manager (same day as assessment^) If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please apply and you will be contacted by a recruiter! #J-18808-Ljbffr
